Here are the two pictures from Indiaphragme which were sold during our Charity Photo Exhibition at Café Oz early this month. Small audience but great success. It was huge pleasure to meet people, talk with them, share "the story behind"... and see the one they would pick up among all of them!

We will renew the experience again, for sure, by the way, a picture is a nice Christmas gift, isn't it? What do you reckon?

Voici les deux photos d'Indiaphragme qui ont été vendues au cours de notre Expo photos-vente caritative au Café Oz de début Octobre. Petit comité et beau succès. Ce fût un plaisir immense de rencontrer des gens, discuter avec eux, partager "la petite histoire derrière chaque photo"... et voir la photo qu'ils choisiront parmi toutes celles exposées !

Nous renouvellerons l'expérience, très certainement ! Et puis, une photo c'est un cadeau de Noël très sympa non ? Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Un An ! One Year!

One Year at Indiaphragme! Many fireworks behind me. Not to celebrate Indiaphragme! Diwali is still being celebrated all over Delhi and probably India...

I would like to honour my husband, he is certainly my best 'supporter'! He was the one who helped creating this space one year back. For me, for us, for you.

In the coming days, there will be some shots from Amritsar. His shots. I treasure them a lot, get ready for more beautiful moments !

An additional thank you to you, even if not one year with Indiaphragme, your loyalty is unique!

Un an chez Indiaphragme ! Beaucoup de feux d'artifice derrière moi alors que j'écris. Non pas que l'on célèbre Indiaphragme ;-) On célèbre encore Diwali à Delhi ce soir, et partout en Inde...

Je voudrais dédier ce message à mon époux, il est certainement mon meilleur "supporter" ! Il est celui qui m'a aidé à créer cet espace il y a un an. Pour moi, pour nous, pour vous.

Dans les jours qui viennent, il y a aura des photos d'Amritsar. Les siennes. Je les aime beaucoup, préparez-vous à de très beaux moments encore !

Amritsar, in the northwestern part of India. In Punjabi: ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ امرتسر (The Pool Of The Nectar Of Immortality). Religious capital of Sikh Community.

Amritsar, au nord ouest de l'Inde (état du Penjab). En penjabi signifie : "le bassin du nectar de l'immortalité". Capitale religieuse de la Communauté Sikh.

Golden Temple (XVIe siècle/16th century).

Une Frontière, Deux Mondes - One Border, Two Worlds (4/4)

Revealing: take over of the Guards, followed by the lower of the flag at the indo-pakistani border, near Amritsar - north India (Punjab state). A "show" which is welcoming lots of people, "waking up" the nationalist pride of both Indian and Pakistani people. Still they don't meet due to the border between them.

Révélation : il s'agit de la relève de la Garde, et du baisser du drapeau à la frontière indo-pakistanaise, non loin d'Amritsar au nord de l'Inde (état du Penjab). Un spectacle qui attire les foules, réveille la fierté nationaliste des indiens et des pakistanais, qui ne se croisent pas car la frontière les sépare.
