Femme à l'Enfant - Woman and Child (Rajasthan)

Couldn't find any better idea than an Indian woman with her child (Women here are amazing!) to close 2011 year, a fourth year in India, another one that I could share with you by my side...

Bonjour à tous !

C'est la rentrée à Delhi aussi ! J'espère que l'été a été doux, chaleureux, réjouissant, et un régal de photos ! Je suis de retour à Delhi, la mousson est-elle déjà finie.... l'humidité est pourtant bien au rendez-vous...

Mon invité pour cette rentrée sur Indiaphragme ne sera nul autre que mon cher époux, Philippe avec une séquence superbe sur le Ladakh, et les contreforts de l'Himalaya. A suivre cette semaine !

Hello! Back to Delhi, back to my home sweet Indian home ;-) I hope summer was great, peaceful and happy for everybody, with lots of photographs here and there!

In Delhi, it is monsoon time, not much rain still but humidity level is high...

Rideau de Fleurs - Curtains of Flowers, Goa

A wedding party was being arranged near the beach. Beautiful yellow flowers were hanging like natural curtains.

Nyingmapa Monastery, South India

You may have guessed it already thanks to previous posts... I really loved that place. I could have stayed hours and hours. The subtile presence of the monks was exquisite. Their prayers, powerful, simple and peaceful. I will never forget the encounter.

Vous l'aurez sans doute deviné, d'après les posts précédents... j'ai adoré cet endroit. J'aurais pu y rester des heures entières. La présence subtile des moines étaient délicieuse. Leurs prières, pleines d'énergie, simples et porteuses de message de paix. Je n'oublierai pas cette rencontre.

Very ☆ Happy New Year 2011 ☆ to you all!!!

More than two years since I started Indiaphragme and if I look back at the post dated 31.12.2009, not so much has changed. Still wish you the same. In India, we would say "same, same... but different", so I wish you a same, same 2011 year, but different :-)

I also want to give a tribute to Philippe, my dear husband, who is always by my side, who encourages me and my projects, has so many ideas as well and... mainly keeps standing up with my moody mind. Indiaphragme is him as well.

Cheers, have a glass of wine/champaign/your favorite drink... for me!!!

Bonne et ☆ Heureuse Année 2011 ☆ à toutes et tous !!!

Plus de deux ans depuis que j'ai entrepris Indiaphragme et si je regarde en arrière, le post daté 31.12.2009, guère de choses ont changé. Je vous souhaite toujours les mêmes choses. En Inde, on dit volontiers "pareil, pareil, mais différent" (traduction littérale désolée...), alors disons que je vous souhaite une année 2011 pareille, pareille, mais différente ;-)

Je dédie aussi ce post à Philippe, mon cher époux, parce qu'il est à mes côtés à chaque instant, qu'il encourage mes projets, a plein d'idées aussi et... qu'il supporte mes états d'âme sans sourciller. Indiaphragme, c'est lui aussi.

Bonne soirée, buvez un verre à ma santé (champagne, vin, votre boisson favorite !)

Indeed, at the occasion of its 3rd Photo Competition event, Global Ajustments rewarded two photographs of Indiaphragme!!! Theme was BEAUTIFUL INDIA! An easy one don't you think?

Pluie, Pluie, Pluie ! Rain, Rain, Rain!

Week is over now but... not the monsoon! Indeed, after a couple of days without any rain, we woke up this morning under an heavy rain...

I hope you enjoyed the series, well "enjoyed" might be inappropriate, however this series was certainly reflecting the current situation for thousands (more?) people in India. Thanks a lot for your messages.

Une semaine s'achève mais... pas la mousson ! En effet, après quelques jours d'accalmie, nous nous sommes réveillés ce matin sous une pluie battante...

J'espère que vous avez aimé la série, enfin... "aimé" est peut-être inapproprié, toutefois cette série reflète certainement la situation actuelle que vivent des milliers (davantage ?) de personnes en Inde. Merci de vos messages !
