Random Shots pour un départ annoncé - Random Shots and promised departure
Special tribute to Arnaud, the author of Random Shots photoblog. He won't probably tell you but he is leaving India for good at the end of the month. Yesterday his farewell party was held. This shot was my gift for him: a selection of 3 old postcards. He has been great partner for photo exhibitions & projects. La Reine - The Queen
Annual show of the French Embassy school last Saturday: an adaptation of famous 'Donkeyskin', French fairy tale by C Perrault ; there were about 115 students, from 4 to 11, that was stunning!
Spectacle annuel du Lycée Français de Delhi : adaptation de "Peau d'Ane", conte célèbre de Perrault, avec, pour l'occasion, près de 115 élèves, âgés de 4 à 11 ans, magnifique !!!
Tribute to A., the queen on the picture, but also the daughter of a good friend in Delhi

Art moghol - Mughal Art (1/2)
Some weeks ago, I had the privilege to attend a beautiful silver jewellery exhibition where some fantastic Master Jewellers could demonstrate centuries-old and artisanal techniques. Here are a few moulds coming from Mughal period. What an heritage.... Stay tuned for #2... tomorrow! Of course, I will give you the contact details of those talented people.
Il y a quelques semaine, j'ai eu la chance de voir une très belle exposition de bijoux en argent durant laquelle des maîtres bijoutiers ont pu montrer leur art et techniques plusieurs fois centenaires. Voici quelques moules datant de la période moghole. Quel héritage.... Rendez-vous demain pour la photo #2 ! Et vous aurez les coordonnées de ces talentueux personnages.

Rajasthan!
Last Wednesday, the French Embassy School run a beautiful performance gathering both children and musicians from Rajasthan (North India) and some of the French students: music and songs, that was unique (tribute to Glen L. for the stunning job!)
Mercredi dernier, le Lycée Français a présenté une spectacle formidable, mêlant enfants, chanteurs et musiciens du Rajasthan (nord de l'Inde) et une partie des élèves français : musique et chansons pour un moment de partage unique ! (dédicace à Glen L pour son travail remarquable !)
