Ciao Loulou !...;')

great looking Barbie...Although whether she's any less a bimbo than the blonde is open to question (okay, I'm a blonde).

My GOD, what an improvement over Beach Bimbo Barbie!

I agree, I prefer this Barbie to the ones I've seen here!

Although I don't care much for Barbie in general ( I never liked the idea of a children's doll with the same name as the Butcher of Lyon ) this one has the most amazing dress I've ever seen on a doll anywhere... would like to see a real human female dressed like this... I'm sure if you look a little, you could find her ? :-D

PS You had said a while back that you liked the "reflections" photos over at my place, this weekend I finally got around to putting "labels" properly on all the past posts... if you go down the right side of the page, and click on "Reflections" in the Index list, you can pull up all 36 "Reflections" photos from among the back posts... enjoy :-D

@ Kline Bloom: ça change en effet, et ça nous va bien :-)

@ Jeff: oui elles ne comptent pas pour des prunes

@ Art Sparker: she is less definitely :-)

@ CityGirl: there are some others, lovely too, I'll capture another day, wearing "simple" coloured saris, just lovely.

@ Rain: I won't say you are wrong, it's in the air here :-)

@ Lavitadream or should I say Andy: thank you! enjoy!

@ Tiago: marketing :-)

@ Owen: wedding season is over now, temperatures are too high (46°C the past few days) but Indiaphragme will share more with you if that's of interest for you!

@ Owen: you posted before I could finish my comment :-) 36! Waouh! I am sure I could see most of them already (I am a fan of Magic Lantern Show remember?), but I shall go back and see and ENJOY those magic shots, thanks

ps - Your comments about my blogs on yours are lovely, and too much... really!!!! India is so photogenic, anybody can do great shots (see last comment of Arnaud on his blog on this topic!).

I love the image and the color on this pretty Barbie. I've read and discussed a lot of material on the impact of Barbie on little girl's psyche...along the vein of who has long legs like that? Still, my close friend here in Puerto Rico has a collection of BD's (all still in their boxes)that she displays in her home office. Imagine. (She's a professor.)It makes me light hearted about the subject...also I know that I enjoy my daughter dressing up too much! I know it's only external but how fun to see the transformation. We have a Puerto Rican Barbie here...she's dressed in folk clothing. Recently, I noticed that she was on clearance! People just don't want to buy that style of Barbie here...they want elegance...I bet the India Barbie would be a hit!! Thank you for visiting me at Oasis Writing Link (OWL) blog and for signing up. I love your blog and will do the same. I hope you engage with comments-like your blog friend, Andy,I think comments make the world go round!!!

It's good to meet you Miss LouLou

Beautiful dress on this one. Are there other versions - Bollywood Barbie perhaps?

Sarah a dit…

Hi, thanks for visiting me :) I think the dress is beautiful on this Barbie. I'm looking forward to following you.

Loulou a dit…

@ Bill E: as far as I know, there is no Bollywood type of barbie here, however they have developed some other models in beautiful saris, with nice local colours...I'll share more one day, stay tuned!
thanks
